Becoming More Data-Driven: What We’re Working On
At Progressive, we’re focused on continuously improving how we operate, and a big part of that is becoming more data-driven. By leveraging smarter tools and better organization, we’re building a stronger foundation for efficiency, accuracy, and growth.
To support this initiative, we’re actively developing a series of projects using systems to centralize and manage key information across the company. These efforts are designed to give our teams better visibility, reduce manual processes, and ensure that critical data is always up to date and accessible.
Key Projects in Progress
Master Inventory of All Assets
We’re building a comprehensive, centralized inventory system to track all company assets. This will improve accountability, streamline audits, and ensure our teams always have access to the tools and equipment they need, when and where they need them.
Training Records
Tracking employee training is essential for both performance and compliance. Our new system will provide clear visibility into completed trainings, highlight gaps, and ensure every team member stays up to date with required certifications, helping us maintain a highly skilled and ready workforce.
Travel & Deployment Coordination
We’re improving how we plan and manage travel and deployments for field teams. By centralizing this data, we can better coordinate schedules, reduce conflicts, and ensure the right resources are deployed efficiently to meet customer needs.
Field Operations Data
Capturing and organizing field data allows us to better understand performance in real time. This insight helps us identify trends, address issues faster, and continuously improve service delivery in the field.
Resource Planning & Scheduling Optimization
We’re enhancing how we plan and allocate resources across projects. With better data, we can optimize scheduling, improve utilization, and respond more quickly to changing demands, ensuring we’re always aligned with customer priorities.
